It is one of the four tunes exempt from the 200% Busking Tax of 1408, which is still on the books. More than half of the busker’s reported playing must be one of the exempt songs if they don’t want to make a loss. The other three are nightmarishly hard to play unless you have nine arms, whereas the theme from The Godfather is only nightmarishly hard to play both well and in a way that doesn’t put the audience to sleep.
